Pumpkin Bisque - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. fresh parsley
2 c. fresh pumpkin, peeled and seeded
1 c. chicken broth
1 1/3 c. milk
1 c. light cream
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. mace
Preparation

Saute onion, celery and parsley in butter until limp. Add pumpkin and cook until tender.
In saucepan, combine chicken broth, milk, cream and spices. Blend thoroughly.
Add vegetables and heat to simmer for 5 minutes until thick.
