Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
6 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour (Red Band)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sweet milk
1 or 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to mixture. Add other ingredients and mix well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
