Christmas Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt, celery seed and mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 large cabbage
    3 to 4 onions
    1 green pepper
    1 can pimento
Preparation
    Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil and let cool.
    Chop cabbage, onions and green pepper.
    Add can of pimento.
    Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables.
    Let set 12 to 24 hours.
    Stir several times.
    It keeps a couple of weeks.
