Robbie'S Chocolate-Walnut Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
    3 c. milk, divided
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    8 slices dry bread
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Melt bits in 1 cup of milk.
    Stir in other two cups of milk; set aside.
    Decrust (if desired) and cube bread and put in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Combine salt, eggs, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
    Combine milk and egg mixtures and pour over bread.
    Put walnuts (broken or whole) on top.
    Set casserole in a pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
    (Check to make sure walnuts don't darken too much.)
    Serves 6 to 8.
