Geraldine'S Chocolate Cake(Makes 3 Or 4 Layers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. creamy butter (soft)
    4 eggs, room temperature
    2 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well between each egg.
    Alternate flour and buttermilk.
    Sift salt and soda with flour before alternating with milk.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
