Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 stick butter
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Chop or shred cabbage and cook until tender in salted water. Drain well.
    Melt butter in large pan; add soup, milk, mayonnaise, cheese and pepper.
    Mix together.
    Add cooked cabbage and pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Sprinkle crushed cracker crumbs over and dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
