Microwave Japanese Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pound stew meat (beef or pork) sliced thin
    1 large onion or two medium, cut in half and sliced
    2 cups hot water
    1 tablespoon soy sauce (Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce)
    2 tablespoons sweet cooking rice wine (Kikkoman Manjo Aji-Mirin)
    4 large potatoes, cubed
    1 cup baby carrots, cut in half
    1 cup French style green beans
    1 teaspoon dashi (Ajinomoto, Hon Dashi)
    Rice, optional (follow directions on package to make 4 servings)
Preparation
    You should be able to find the soy sauce, rice wine, and dashi in the Asian section of the grocery store.
