Bayou Bounty Seafood Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    3/4 c. margarine (divided use)
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1 lb. fresh crabmeat, picked over
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    Cheddar cheese, shredded
    Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Melt cream cheese and 1/2 cup margarine together.
    Saute onions, green pepper, celery and mushrooms in remaining margarine. Add shrimp. Saute until shrimp are pink. Add crabmeat, soup, rice and seasonings. Mix well. Stir in cream cheese mixture. Spoon into shallow 3-quart casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese and crackers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8.
