Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
    4 c. thinly sliced, pared apples (about 5 medium)
Preparation
    In large bowl, beat eggs at high speed until thick and light. Combine sugar and oil.
    Beat into eggs.
    Stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
    Add to egg mixture along with vanilla.
    Stir in walnuts.
