Cow Pies(Yields 2 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped slivered almonds
Preparation
    In a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate chips and shortening, stirring until smooth.
    Remove from heat; stir in raisins and almonds.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Chill until ready to serve.
