Spicy Low Fat Low Calorie Spinach Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 (10 oz.) box frozen spinach (chopped or whole) thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 c. fat free sour cream
1/3. c. fat free milk
2 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
Preparation

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat and add onions and garlic.
Cook about 3 minutes and transfer to food processor or food chopper.
Add remaining ingredients, except water chestnuts, and process until almost smooth.
Scrape into a serving bowl and stir in water chestnuts.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
