Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    3 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Mix sugar and butter at low speed.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, little at a time.
    Add flavoring; bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in tube pan, greased and floured.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Do not open oven during the entire baking time.
