Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook potatoes.
    Add chopped eggs.
    Fry bacon and onion until a delicate brown.
    Strain, reserving bacon fat.
    Add fat slowly to beaten egg and beat well.
    Add vinegar and salt and pour over potatoes.
    Mix lightly to blend well; heat in double boiler.
    Serve hot.
