Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    butter (size of walnut)
    salt (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix together in double boiler.
    Cook until a little thickened. If too thick after cooling, thin out with evaporated milk.
