Lemon Oat Lacies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    3 c. Quaker oats (Quick or old fashion)
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    1 tsp. vanilla
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat margarine and sugar until creamy.
    Add remaining ingredients, except powdered sugar.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
    Roll into 1-inch balls; flatten with powdered sugar dipped glass.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
    Remove to rack; sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
