Chicken Ragout With Cheddar Cheese Dumpling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diagonally sliced carrots
    1 c. sweet red pepper strips
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 c. cooked chicken
    1 c. frozen peas, thawed and drained
    2 c. Bisquick mix
    2/3 c. milk
    3/4 c. shredded cheese
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
Preparation
    Arrange carrots and pepper strips in a steam basket.
    Place over boiling water.
    Cover and steam for 8 minutes or until tender.
    Set aside.
