Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. grated onion
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook the carrots in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain.
    Melt butter.
    Add milk and vegetable liquid (1/4 cup) and cook slowly until thick.
    Add everything.
    Pour into a buttered baking dish and cover with buttered crumbs.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
