Mama'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
    3 c. cubed potatoes
    3 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon until almost crisp.
    Remove and add onions; cook 5 minutes.
    Crumble bacon.
    Drain clams; reserve liquid.
    Add all ingredients except clams.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Add clams and heat 3 minutes.
