Shepherds Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp. margarine
    2 tbsp. chopped onion
    1 1/2 cups diced cooked meat (stew beef)
    1 1/2 cups diced vegetables (veg all)
    1 cup tomato soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cups hot mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Melt margarine in frying pan.
    Add onions and saute 3 minutes. Add meat, vegetables (drained), tomato soup.
    Stir over low heat until well mixed and thoroughly heated.
    Season to taste.
    Pour mixture into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
    Cover with mashed potatoes and bake at 400\u00b0 about 15 minutes until potatoes are light brown. 6 servings.
