Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 3/4 c. English toffee bits or Heath bar, crumbled
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large bowl, stir together flour and brown sugar.
Cut in margarine until mixture resembles large crumbs.
Add egg; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of pan.
Bake 10 minutes.
