Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 can tomato soup
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
    Peel and cut carrots into bite-size pieces.
    Cook in salted water until tender.
    Do not overcook.
    Drain well.
    Mix sugar, oil, vinegar and tomato soup together in pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over warm carrots.
    Add green pepper and onion.
    Mix well.
    Chill overnight.
