Irish Whole Wheat Breakfast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. whole-wheat flour
    1 c. self-rising flour
    pinch of salt
    1 good rounded tsp. baking soda
    buttermilk (to mix)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Sieve the flour, salt and baking soda into a mixing bowl and mix well. Using a large wooden spoon, add the buttermilk gradually (about 3/4 cup), until you have a soft, but not too wet, consistency. Use quick cutting strokes for mixing; do not beat or form a batter.
