Perfect Pie Crust Everytime - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour, unsifted and spooned into measuring cup
1 3/4 c. shortening (nothing else)
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. white or cider vinegar
1 large egg
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl with fork.
Add shortening and stir until crumbly.
In small bowl, beat water, vinegar and egg. Combine the two mixtures, stirring with fork until all ingredients are moistened. Divide dough in 5 portions and with hands, shape each into flat round patty. Wrap in plastic wrap or waxed paper and chill at least 1/2 hour (or freeze).
