Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken
2 c. plain flour
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
canned chicken broth
Preparation
-
Cook chicken until done; debone and place meat in liquid that chicken was cooked in.
I add canned chicken broth if the liquid needs to be richer.
