Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

11 saltine crackers, crushed
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 eggs
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped
3/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 c. (11) saltine crackers, crushed
1 (12 oz.) (1 1/2 c.) small curd cottage cheese
1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
1 Tbsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. dry oregano, crushed
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the crackers, hamburger, tomato paste, eggs, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper and mix well. Pat 1/2 of the mixture into the bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Combine crackers, cottage cheese, mushrooms, parsley and oregano. Spread mixture over the meat in the pan and top with remaining meat mixture and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
