Creamy Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar (optional)
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cook together sugars, milk and cream of tartar; stirring constantly until firm soft-ball or 232\u00b0.
    Add pecans and beat. Drop onto waxed paper by spoonfuls.
