Tea Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter to consistency of mayonnaise.
Add sugar gradually while continuing to cream.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Beat until light.
