German Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    bacon to taste
Preparation
    Cook all above ingredients like you make gravy.
    Excellent for cold slaw or potato salad.
    For potato salad, fry bacon and keep about 2 tablespoons of the grease.
    Cut up about 1 cup of celery and saute.
    Boil potatoes, cool and slice and put in dish with chopped fine raw onions and refrigerate overnight.
    In morning heat sauce and add to potatoes.
