Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine until tender.
    Combine with soup and sour cream in bowl.
    Add potatoes, cheese, salt and pepper, stirring well.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Toss corn flakes with 1/4 cup melted margarine. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
    Bake 15 minutes longer.
    Serves 10 to 12.
