Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium green tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. white cornmeal
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes 1/4-inch thick; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat tomato slices with cornmeal.
    Add to hot bacon drippings in skillet over medium heat.
    Cook until brown on both sides; drain. Serves 3.
