New Orleans Bread Pudding(With Custard Sauce) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf stale bread (Po-Boy or sliced - the more stale the better*)
    4 c. milk
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    *If bread is not stale enough, sprinkle with water and put in oven for a few minutes.
