Philadelphia Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. scalded milk
    4 slightly beaten egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 to 2 c. whipping cream
    vanilla
    2 c. peaches or 5 bananas
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients (except fruit and whipping cream) in double boiler until spoon is murky.
    Add to freezer with cream and churn 15 minutes.
    Add peaches or bananas and churn until firm.
