Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. diced, cooked potatoes
    1 pt. cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1 clove minced garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 red onion, chopped
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients, setting aside 3/4 cup cheese. Pour mixture into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Bake, uncovered, 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Can be made 1 to 2 days ahead.
