Memaw'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. chopped clams
    1 qt. potatoes, diced
    2 strips bacon
    1/2 gal. water
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in water until tender.
    Fry bacon and add to potatoes.
    Chop clams and add to chowder and cook 8 to 10 minutes more.
