Belle Ronan'S Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. haddock
    1 medium onion
    1/4 lb. salt pork
    3 medium potatoes
    1 pt. milk
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Simmer haddock in small amount of water until just before it flakes.
    Chop onion fine; saute with finely sliced salt pork. Cube potatoes and boil.
    Heat pint of milk separately, then add and heat together with evaporated milk.
    Add a few cubes of butter to the milk.
    Add onion and salt pork to fish, then add potatoes. Add milk, salt and pepper to taste.
    Do not boil.
