Double Decker Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large baking potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    instant mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings)
    1/2 tsp. instant minced onions
    1 1/2 oz. sharp processed American cheese, shredded (1/3 c.)
Preparation
    Scrub potatoes. Do not peel.
    Cut each potato lengthwise in 3 thick slices.
    Place in baking dish, cut side up.
    Drizzle with melted butter.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
