Banana Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. soft shortening
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. mashed ripe banana (2 or 3)
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix together thoroughly sugar, shortening and eggs.
Stir in buttermilk, mashed bananas and flour.
Then stir in soda and fold in chopped nuts.
Bake in bread loaf pan 50 to 60 minutes.
