Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sliced fresh peaches
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar (for peaches)
Preparation
    Combine flour and one cup sugar.
    Slowly stir in milk.
    Melt butter in 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Pour batter over melted butter.
    Do not stir.
    Mix the peaches and the 1/2 to 1 cup sugar (to sweeten peaches to taste and depending on how sweet peaches are).
    Spoon carefully over the batter.
    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serve hot or cold.
