Auntie Vail'S Italian Sausage Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage (mild or hot)
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 medium green pepper, sliced
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 (12 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce with bits
    1 (16 oz.) jar Ragu cooking sauce
    1 small cabbage, chopped
Preparation
    Fry sausage until brown.
    Drain.
    Add remainder of ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    If sauce gets too thick, thin with water.
    Serve over French bread shaped sourdough rolls.
