Grann Parker'S Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped cabbage
    12 onions
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    2 qt. chopped green tomatoes
    5 c. white sugar
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. whole mix spices
    4 Tbsp. ground mustard
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    4 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 to 3 qt. vinegar
    1 qt. cucumbers
Preparation
    Chop all vegetables and mix together with 1/2 cup salt.
    I let it set about 2 hours, but can set overnight; drain.
    Add spices to sugar and vinegar.
