Cherry Coke Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can pitted black cherries
1 small can crushed pineapple
3 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
13 oz of Coke, regular not diet
2 small or 1 large pkg. cherry, or black cherry jello
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Drain cherries and pineapple; save the juice.
Heat 1 cup of the juice to boiling; add to jello in a large pretty bowl and stir making sure that all of the jello is dissolved. Heat coke and add 1 cup cold water; add to jello. Refrigerate and let partially thicken.
Cut cherries in half and add to pineapple, set aside. Add a small amount of partially set jello to the cream cheese in a small bowl and stir; keep adding jello until cream cheese is almost a liquid; add it to jello and mix well.
Add cherries, pineapple and pecans; mix well and chill until firm.
