Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, softened
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, softened
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation

Combine cheeses, bacon and seasonings; mix well. Spoon about 2 tablespoons into each pepper half. Roll in bread crumbs. Place on a greased jelly roll pan and bake uncovered at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes for spicy flavor, 30 minutes for medium and 40 minutes for mild. Serve with sour cream, onion dip or Ranch dressing. Makes 24 appetizers.
