South Carolina Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef
    1 tsp. flour
    1 can tomatoes, cut up
    1 can green field peas
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/2 lb. crowder peas (with snaps)
    4 potatoes, diced
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced thinly
Preparation
    Heat beef in oil.
    Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Serve over rice.
