Pesto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. basil leaves, lightly packed
    1 c. olive oil
    3 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. pine nuts, walnuts or almonds
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    dash of white wine (optional)
Preparation
    Put basil into blender.
    Add rest of ingredients, except cheese.
    Finely chop, punching down as needed.
    Add additional oil, if necessary, to attain a loose paste that is not too soupy or runny.
    Remove from blender into bowl.
    Add cheese.
    Great over pasta, fish, bread, etc.
