Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, cut in half
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    2 c. reserved fruit juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. white syrup
    4 Tbsp. apricot gelatin
Preparation
    Drain fruit.
    Save
    juice
    from
    peaches and pineapple. Mix juice, sugar,
    cornstarch
    and
    white
    syrup.
    Boil
    until clear. Add gelatin to hot mixture.
    Cool and pour over fruit. Then add about 4 bananas, cut in fairly large pieces.
