Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
5 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine butter, Crisco and sugar.
Add 1 egg at a time.
Beat on low speed until mixed.
Add flour, baking powder and milk, a little at a time.
Beat at medium speed and add extracts.
(Add 1/2 cup chopped black walnuts, if desired.)
Put in well-greased angel food cake pan.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
