Creamy Cauliflower And Ham Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Green Giant frozen cauliflower, chopped
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 c. cubed, peeled potatoes
    1 c. diced cooked ham
    1 c. half and half
    1/4 c. chopped chives
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Melt margarine over medium heat.
    Add onions and garlic and cook until tender.
    Add water, cauliflower, chicken broth and potatoes.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Stir in ham, 1/2 cup of half and half, chives, white pepper and nutmeg.
    In a small bowl, combine remaining half and half with the flour; blend well.
    Slowly stir into soup; cook and stir constantly
    until slightly thickened and bubbly.
    Makes 8 (1 1/4 cup) servings.
