Cabbage Frances(Sweet-Sour Flavor) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
4 c. shredded cabbage
2 green apples, pared and sliced
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

In skillet, melt margarine; add onion.
Cook gently until golden brown.
Add cabbage, apple and water.
Mix well.
Cover tightly and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Continue to simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Cabbage should still be tender-crisp. Makes 6 servings.
