Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    additional 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Blend together with pastry blender the 1 1/2 cups of flour, shortening and salt.
    Mix the additional 1/2 cup of flour with water and stir into first mixture with a fork.
    Put on floured surface and make into a ball.
    Divide in half and roll out each half into a circle and place in 8-inch or 9-inch pie pan.
    Makes two single crusts.
    (Second half may be used for top crust on a fruit pie.)
