Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sour milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter
or
margarine;
add eggs and cream well. Add
milk
and
dry ingredients.
Blend thoroughly; add cocoa mixed
with
hot water, and beat well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in layer pans
for
30 to 35 minutes or in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 35 minutes.
